El Salto (The Dive) is a photographic project initiated in 2022 that explores the lives of a group of young migrants on the beaches of Barcelona. This work invites the photographer to reflect on his own perspective and documentary approach. Currently, the project is still in development along the northern coasts of Morocco, encompassing locations such as Melilla, Nador, Alhucemas, Tetuán, Tánger, Asilah, and Belyounech. The themes addressed in his research include immigration, borders, the community’s relationship with the sea, and the metaphorical act of jumping into it.
