El Salto is a photographic essay that explores the relationship between youth, identity, and landscape within the context of migration. Developed through long-term engagement with a group of young people in Barcelona and a journey across various towns in northern Morocco, the project examines their connection to the sea as a symbolic space of transit, longing, and belonging. The images blend everyday moments with collaboratively staged portraits, forming an open-ended, symbolic narrative centered around the shared act of jumping into the water.
